The hottest topic among U.S. Family-based Intending Immigrants since January 2020 to date

Here we will discuss the hottest topic that every applicant (under the family-based preference category), their petitioner, sponsors, and friends wants to know. And they are bout: Visa Processing Backlog, Welcome Letter not received, hardly any movement in Visa Bulletin, When will NVC schedule Interview Letter?

It has been noticed that in almost all U.S. immigration Facebook groups or Whatsapp groups, people are worried and want to know the answers concerning their case and the current situation at the U.S. consulate. We will eradicate that fuss through this blog, which will help thousands better manage their Visa processing journey. This blog will be informational for the following Immigration Visa classes.

  • Spouse of a U.S. Citizen IR1, CR1,

  • Spouse of a U.S. Citizen awaiting approval of an I-130 immigrant petition

  • K-3, Fiancé (e) to marry U.S. Citizen & live in U.S. K-1 ,

  • Certain Family Members of U.S. Citizens IR2, CR2, IR5, F1, F3, F4;

  • Certain Family Members of Lawful Permanent Residents F2A, F2B,

  • Other Immigrants, Returning Resident – SB, Religious Workers - S.D., S.R.

So let’s start; if we talk about the welcome letter, let me announce this very clearly that NVC never stopped working like U.S. Consulates. Even in the peak time of Covid-19, NVC was operational with limited staff. We have received many Welcome letters in the peak time of Covid -19 from NVC for our clients. So if your priority date is current and you have not received the Welcome Letter yet, you should contact NVC or Atty Samar Sandhu. Now comes the second thing, and that is Visa Bulletin. As we can see from last August 2021, there is hardly any movement in the Visa Bulletin. This means that priority dates are not moving. This directly impacts your interview date and NVC Visa processing. But here, we would like to mention an essential aspect of the Visa Interview. Do you know NVC schedules Visa Interviews on a first-in-first-out basis? It means the early your documents will be approved by NVC, the early you will be in the queue to have Visa Interview. It means you have to be prepared with everything in advance to cut delays and speed up your visa processing. Currently, NVC is scheduling (Interviews for Category F4) that are current and approved by NVC between December 2018 to May 2019. If you need more information specific to your Visa category then write to us at info@f4india.com
